Turns out there's an 03 SV650n 3 miles down the road from my friend.

The good:
It only has 8000 miles, the guy is asking $2400, it already has a few mods including full exhaust

The bad:
It has a salvage title, has been sitting for years, needs a rear tire, and we don't know if its ever been registered in NH or even if its titled in NH.

We've got a bit of research to do, and will be checking it out with a fine tooth comb before we do anything, but my friend is considering offering him $1500 if it checks out.

Remember there's some minor things on '03 SVs that make them unique, like a higher subframe than '04+ and different rearsets between N and S models...and that uniqueness can sometimes be a pain when you're looking for parts.
