No, I kept it 100% stock
Yes, I removed them all
I removed some and/or replaced with reflective tape
Did you remove the reflectors on your bike?
Reason I'm asking is their chintzy and annoying on mine. (e.x. front fork reflectors block access to brake bleeder valves, rear ones interfere with hard bags, etc..)
I had removed the side reflectors on my rear fender a long time ago because they just don't work at all with the hard bags.
I was really tempted to take them off the forks last weekend.
I have never seen any evidence to either support or deny that they are an actual safety aid on motorcycles. I believe it has been thoroughly proven that side reflectors don't help at all on a bicycle, but they are still required on bicycles because requiring head & tail lights on bicycles would hurt the industry. Since we have headlights and tail lights I'm not sure I care about them on the MC.
I would maybe be tempted to put some reflective tape on if I remove them though.
Also do you know if they are required for inspection?
Ick they can bust you for it in MA. I'm still tempted to try the tape.
Reflectors off
On the gixer it was a DOT After thought and I did unscrew them.
Also the whole sub fender and am just hanging the plate off a bracket.
Will make my own white led illuminators sometime soon
Certainly looks like more what I believe the designers were going for
Glen Beck is John the Baptist
Technically they are required to pass inspection in MA.
No comment on my bike![]()

I took mine off but put on some retro-reflective tape that I bought at Walmart. It's not 3M brand but I didn't want to pay what everyone else is asking for 3M and this stuff works. If you decide to use it though be careful because until you get the tape adhered onto whatever its very very easy to break.
