If there is one tool I hate and always struggle with, it's grease guns. I can never for the life of me load up a cartridge and have it pressurized and work the first time. It's freaking messy too.

Our old combine on the farm had 99 grease fittings that you had to hit before each day of use. Most difficult part was finding them all the first day. Usually go through a tube of grease a day. I hate grease guns...
Yeah, I wouldn't say the seals/clearances were in the best shape. Most of our equipment was old, really old.
I know a guy whose family/friends have a "communal" Kubota tractor. His father in-law told him he has to grease all the fittings every time he uses it. And plug in the block heater 3 hours before starting it, and warm it up for an hour before using it. I told him to read the manual, seems a little excessive. :doh:
