Where to rent a BIG trailer?

I need to put 4 bikes in an enclosed trailer for a trip. 3 sportbikes and a roadstar warrior. I checked Uhaul, but their largest one 6x12 is too small to fit 4 bikes. I'd need 7x16 or smth like that. Any ideas on where to rent this size enclosed trailer?

Are you talking something like the landscaping 8x20' trailers enclosed?
I dont think you can rent them. I'd get a Uhaul box truck, and a box trailer. 2 in each.
    Just an idea.

But also check out Taylor rental, they can look arond for you too.

Well, ideally 7x16 would be perfect. Anything bighger than that would be overkill. I'll check Taylor's it's not far from me. On the other hand, I'd hate to rent a boxtruck. Only 2 seats, and they will charge for the mileage. The whole trip is gonna be around..... 3k miles

7 enclosed will be wide enough? You think so? How are you going to strap em down?
Otherwise, i'd look into the phonebook of some landscaping guys and ask if u can rent one of theirs while your still in the off season.

I know this post will be pretty much useless but I'll post it anyhow.

We rented a large enclosed Haulmark trailer a couple of years ago from a company in CT. I don't remember the name or town it was in. I'll try to dig up the info if I can and post it here but figured I'd throw it out there that there is a company in CT that rents trailers like you are looking for. For some reason the town Thompson CT sticks in my head.

You have a point here. I 've never towed that size trailer before, so I have no idea what it needs- like a brake controler. Don't they come with a trailer you rent? Is it something that can be just pluged in, or does it require some kind of a setup?

The problem with getting a trailer that size & why you can not find one to rent, is because you now run into the need to have brakes on the trailer.

Which means you need the brake controller in the towing vehicle.

You may have a tough time finding something at all for rent, good luck! I hope someone comes up with a solution for you.

Thanks! I'll give this place a call tomorrow. But Kurt has a good point there ^^^with a brake controler.
Could you find more places like camp inc. for me? Cause I tried to search, it did not give me anything in Mass except uhaul website.

Re: Where to rent a BIG trailer?

Sorry about that Neri, didn't check here first. yeah there are a couple of companies down in jersy and maryland that also provide the same service but you have to get the trailer from them .... no delivery

There is another trailer company that is also near my hose that has trailers for sale but I can check to see if they rent.

Campout's trailer is an 07 and is immaculate for a rental plus it is set up!!!! to transport several bikes!!!!
