    Replacement HID Ballast

Looking for a friend not on NESR. He's got one McCullough HID ballast that has burnt out. I see them on eBay for about $60 for a replacement. Anyone (GixerJockey, Sheppo, T.Duncan) know of any better price for them? And I'm not replacing both ballasts since the other headlight bulb is for the hi-beam & doesnt get as much use obviously.

    Thanks guys.

    Re: Replacement HID Ballast

Most of the Ballasts use the same connections and are the same ballast with different stickers on them, you can get them for about $30 on ebay.

    Re: Replacement HID Ballast

Sorry, I have nothing important to say about HID replacement parts.
Except. I think some companies make ballasts specifically designed for bikes that supposedly handle vibrations better than car ballasts.

We do not stock aftermarket HID kits or parts for a multitude of reasons. By the way, McCulloch used to sell kits in the US and now they DO NOT.

$60 for a ballast? For another $30 you can get everything to do one light. I'm not going to search through their site but you might be able to get just a ballast that fits here Click

I know people that have been running HID kits from them for years and haven't had a single problem yet.
