Re: the return of cooler air

I love the cool air. I would be very happy if it never went below 50 and above 75.

Riding a furnace like the C-14 Concours makes spring and fall good riding seasons.

Hopefully it will last this year like last- I did a 3 hour ride last year on the first weekend of December. Never thought it would happen in northern N.H.

    Good call.

I checked the FJR tires and they were down about 10.

Well, I was more talking about the temperature I find most comfortable to work in. I have some decent cold weather gear and have spent a bit of time riding in sub-freezing temps.

Move to San Jose. I think we saw 40s maybe 5 times all winter and only saw 80s and 90s a dozen or so times this summer... plus that whole no humidity thing is pretty awesome.

That does sound pretty nice! . I really like San Francisco, actually (climate and in general) but I don't think I could afford to live there, or Cali in general. Never been to San jose

Fuck SF. Its low 50s and foggy there all the time... plus that big cloud of smug hanging over the city. I hate that place.

As Winston Churchill said "The coldest winter I've ever known was summer in San Francisco."

Re: the return of cooler air

I've noticed the same thing too. Cool air just seems to add something to the way the bike responds...try going out in February to truly appreciate the effect. And...the look on the faces of cagers when you pull up next to them at the lights. Steam coming out from under the nearly closed visor. Priceless.
