What should my new ride be?

Can you believe I started with 4 bikes the first of the year, and now down to my last one that could be snatched up at any time.. Then what? I need to decide on what bike, the ZX10 is high up on the "list"

I want something that handles the corners like a 600RR, I want a fast and with strong low end torque, able to carry passengers comfy like a goldwing (Ok maybe not, but at least somewhat comfy for a full days ride) Has to be able to carry soft saddle bags in case of a weekender. All this and still look cool. Oh yeah has to have better gas mileage than the RC's range of 107 light warning and 127 empty! Thats rediculas!

I am not completely married to any manufacturer, but my Honda treated me very well, as well as my Yammies. Except the YZF600's tranny..

My range on price would be between $8K and $13K Tops & I am going brand new!

Not considered. No Naked Bikes, or cruisers! Ducati / Aprilla / Moto Guzzi / BMW Most of the European makes, Except Truimph is acceptable!

What should my new ride be?

    z1k
    comfy as hell
    125 hp stock
45 mpg... even when being flogged
can be had for under 8k.

i cant complain too much except the stock rear tire is too fat and polished rims are a bitch to keep clean.

if your budget could swing it, then i would go with a tuono or that duc that wayne and tim got. do you sense my theme here?

What should my new ride be?

Have you considered the new beemer, K1200S. Doubt it'll handle like a 600 but better stability and comfort. I don't know what the price is though.

They look real nice from that angle, but I bet they are very costly! I will research! First time I have heard of it! Hey It will be a nice match for my new car!

What should my new ride be?

I found a bunch of write ups on the K1200S, 170 Hp Heavy expensive machine that still has bugs. Seems there is an issue with throttle responce and smooth handling that BMW are still trying to work out.

If I were to guess on the price I would have to say? Between $18,500 & $21,000 ? Does that seem way off?

If thats the case the no freakin way, For that price I would buy a new 600 rocket and a nice sport tourer..

    Don't forget the obvious

If you're looking for a sportbike that does a little bit of everything, AND you may lean a bit towards Honda, don't overlook the obvious.

Capable of dragging the footpegs with ease, Good Ergo's, comfy for a passenger, plenty of luggage options, 200+ mile range, about 100RWHP

    VFR!

What should my new ride be?

you can pick up a used RSVR Aprilia for cheap money considering the new price of those things are 16k plus you can pick up a low mileage example for 10k or well under
Fine Fine motorcycle with great suspension package and a bulletproof motor capable of serious high mileage
