What should my new ride be?

Hell, I love my cruiser. It does all the things you want, and then some.

So having said that Mike, why is it that all naked bikes are not going to be considered? They are all have much better ergos than any of the faired bikes that you are looking at. Before you say no, you should at least try a few out if you haven't already.

Spin by some of the local shops. All of the Aprilia, Ducati, and MV Agusta dealers I visited were more than happy to allow me to test ride their bikes.

    which shops?

    A996S-

not trying to highjack Mike's thread but which Aprilia and Ducati shops are best. I know BCM for Ducati and Seacoast for Aprilia are generally rated as good or better. Anyone else?

    From MCN:
BMW has suspended all test rides of its K1200S and is delaying delivery of bikes to customers until beyond the end of the year.

It says the reason is a “defective camshaft component” supplied by a third party.

For Aprilia, I only went to Seacoast Sport Cycle. They are great guys.

As for Ducati, BCM is the best (for service and parts), but I actually bought mine at Naults Ducati in Manchester NH. Talk to Scott if you go there, though they are all a great group of guys. Another good one is Great Bay Triumph/Ducati in Hampton NH. Talk with Don. He's a great guy to deal with and is willing to give a deal to make a sale. I also had a few good talks with one of the guys down @ Eastern Cycle in Beverly MA. They are an MV Agusta /Ducati dealer.
