What sort of gearing do you use on your SV? What gears do you like to enter which turns with?

Ox...I doubt you have much to worry about after how you were running this weekend......Fockin Fast!
...Now Chad on the other hand???

WOTEugene......I had the same question the beginning of the season for my F4 and found out alot of it is preference and experience. Depends on what kind of times you are running.
So, no definate answer is what I concluded.
I personally think higher gearing helps when you are starting out and then lower your gears as you get faster in that gear.
Just the opinion of a rookie racer.

i dont really count gears, i think im in 4th in the bowl. if that were correct then i could figure out what gear im in around the rest of the track

if you just learning then you could probably do the track in 3rd (except the front straight) without shifting. but shifting is so much fun. especially at full lean when you grab a gear and the whole bike shimmys as the STOCK suspension desperatly tries to maintain traction as the front wheel gets REALLY light and the handlebars feel like air as they sway around when you try to change direction................... and thats just turn 4
