If you must ride this winter

Well I need a couple of old bikes first, either bmx or mountain bikes.
I think I have the ski's but I'll have to check on that. As for the mounting system I might have to "fabricate" that at work, I did see a kit on the internet but they want too much $$$$ for it in my opinion.
shouldn't take too long to get it together, its getting the bikes that is the biggest part.

I have seen the snow board version as well, basically a bmx bike with 1 and a half snow boards under it. Just another way to pass the winter months until the the salt and sand is off the roads.

My buddy Dave owns a bike shop, the cellar's filled with junk bikes. We could make a bunch of those things and race.

Hmm, let's take a look at this. Some guy, apparently "bored" of skiing, decides to take a piece of equipment that doesn't belong on a ski mountain, and shove it awkwardly down the slopes, annoying and terrorizing all who get in the way of his uncontrollable descent. He looks silly, probably can't turn without falling down, and ends up pushing all the snow down the mountain in a vain attempt to reach the bottom without killing himself.

Sounds more like snowboarding to me

Ha! You obviously haven't been to a mountain lately. It's skiers who tend to push the snow off the slopes these days.

I was at one all day yesterday. Saw exactly one skiier sliding sideways down a slope they couldn't get down. Saw at least 10 snowboarders doing the same thing.

Next you're going to tell me I'm likely to find skiiers lounging around in the middle of the trails sitting on their ass because they can't maintain their balance on the awkward equipment while stopped? Can't say I mind that as much though, they make great slalom gates. Good practice
