Articles like this usually do a shitty job of explaining what actually happened and typically gear it towards the "it was the motorcyclists fault he got killed". It doesn't specify whether or not he was in the act of passing in a no passing zone at the time of the crash or in the school zone. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't... Maybe he was riding like a complete asshole 5 seconds before but slowed down, maybe he didn't.

And this is why I don't like these kinds of threads.

I saved a clipping of the newspaper article describing my own crash - an uninsured, unregistered, DUI driver ran a stop sign and hit me and I woke up barely alive in the hospital. But the newspaper article made it seem like I was the reckless driver. Quite entertaining to read it.
