    From News 7

1 killed in NH hit-run; police find other driver
HENNIKER, N.H. -- Police have made an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run crash that closed a section of a major New Hampshire commuting route in Henniker.

Police say a motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a car on Routes 202 and 9 in Henniker shortly after 1:30 a.m.

Police say the car driver fled. After about six hours of searching, including the state police helicopter, officers say they found the car driver.

R.I.P. I drive that fucking road every day. I heard the chopper all night and saw the aftermath this morning. What a waste.

Unbelievable. What a complete asshole. Did he really expect to get away from this? RIP to the rider. You serve in Iraq, and survive to come home, only to have this happen...so sad.

    RIP to the rider.

What the hell was going through the guy that hit hims head.

I still dont quite understand it. He was hit by the BMW(the guy who ran) and then the rider fell and was hit by a civic? The civic very well could have been doing everything right and hit him only because the bike lost control from the beemer. They didnt say that the civic left the scene or anything?

Right....BMW hit him then the civic by the sounds of it. All three were going the same direction I believe it said. Makes me wonder if the BMW and Civic were racing. Either way they must have been hauling ass to come up behind a bike and hit it...not saying the officer was flying too, but to not be able to brake / swerve and just clip the bike? Had to be moving.

If that is the case (racing, or both flying) then they'll both get theirs when the time comes

    Re: Rider down in NH.

This story really hit home with me.
Maybe because I too was out on the roads late last night
and the same thing could have happened to me But this
story sent chills down my spine.

Would NESR consider coordinating a ride to honor
    this rider, policeman, soldier/veteran?

    Just a thought........

It definitely sounds like a drunk driver, he rear ended the cop on the bike. How do you not see a bike that your coming up on, unless your trashed.

I hate that road, I believe that was name one of the deadliest roads in NH
