Riding 2up problem - ball squashing

So I take the wife out on the Nighthawk 650SC last night for a leasiurely 20 mile run at twilight. It was only her 3rd time on the bike, but I have ridden plenty of miles with other passengers before. (just not with this particular bike.)

She was good in the leans, didn't squirm too much, and only banged hemets once or twice.

The problem was she kept sliding into me during downshifts and braking. I mean, she was practically entirely in my seat - we could've fit a third person on the saddle!

She only weighs 125, but it felt like I was holding back a refridgerator when I came to a stop.

I told her to stay close, but Jesus, when your nuts start to roll up under your ass to get squashed, it is a bit too close.

I had the same thing happen with my girlfriend on the back of my CBR 600. I figured out to have her put her hands against the gas tank and brace from there. Much more pleasant. Good Luck...

On my last bike, this was more of a problem than on this bike, but what I used to tell my wife to do was to put her arms around me and grab one wrist with the other hand and rest her second hand (the one not grabbing her wrist) on the gastank. Another option is to invest in a different saddle that has a more divided passenger/pilot area such that she is more secure in the seat.

The human body is too weak a tool to use shear body strength to fight this 'squashdum scrotedius' phenom. The above prescribed 'gas tank' treatments should clear it all up...

A permanent fix is to get her a bike of her own. Women that ride are instantly 50% sexier and they know it. This makes them more confident and therefore hornier, which will put your balls to better use producing testosterone to take care of thier needs. It's a perfect fix.

Course the hornier crap was a lie!!! Don't buy into that crap!!!

If the bike has grab rails behind/below the rear seat, you can tell her to grab those instead of you.

Works great when you're stopping.

Same problem here. Of course, it looks like my wife will be taking the MSF class shortly...and Kawasaki has a great financing deal going on, so it looks like we may be getting her on an EX500 shortly
