I rode for about 2 hours today and covered about 8.5 miles...some of the best riding I've done in quite a while What a day to get out of work early, was home by noon, got the dirty bitch out of the basement, cleaned the dust off my offroad gear and hit the trails. God it sucks when the trail starts 50' from your door

Nope, I went 8 1/2 miles. Granted it was single track trails...virgin unused trails at that...and the fact that I hadn't ridden single track on 2 wheels in amost a year made for one of those ride 1 mile and take a 10 minute break type of days

*sigh* I miss the good old days when I was heading deep into the woods on the ATV...would go have some fun in shallow creeks, letting the ATV floating away until it grasped another pile of gravel at the bottom...and the little breaks were fun times, too.... Anything trails, wood, sand pits, are wicked fun to play at with a toy, or a 4wd truck.

I saw about a dozen going from Westfield to Easthampton. I was so jealous bouncing around in the truck. I am looking at my dream Ducati on Friday hope to ridding by next weekend. Wish me luck. My wife's going to kill me but at least I'll have my Ducati

I only rode about 30 miles today

last nite I dropped my V-Strom at the dealer for 19,000 service, glad I did it last nite, I woke up to 1½ of fresh snow, town didn't plow or sand so the roads were treacherous early this morning

next week it will go into the shop again for new tires and a gasket & thermostat housing (small coolant leak)

my Karoo T's have worn so that it's like I'm riding on a saw blade in front

I saw a nice pack of squids riding on 128S around 6. All on supersports, most wearing just hoodie+jeans, and riding like douches. Hooray!

I managed to do a quick 30mi after work, I had to get out in the warm weather. Riding to work in the cold sucks...

i kept seeing packs of 3-4 sportbikes (almost certainly fellow umass students), but i could never turn around and catch up to em -- i was in a funky mood, though, cuz i rarely am looking for groups to ride with.

I've already been dissed a few times by the HD riders this year. Mommy must have beaten those guys when they were younger and now they're married to the same kinda woman. I usually always get the wave from the other cruiser riders, though. Tis a silly phenomenon, but what can ya do...and who gives a shit anyway.

I have done 80 miles, so far today. That's half my commute+a lunch ride. 50 miles to home. First commute of the year, but it'll be a couple of weeks before I have another due to business travel.
