At our yearly instructor update on Saturday we were informed that we could provide courses to the public free of charge. One of the courses is group riding. It includes group riding safety and such. I would be willing to teach such a class to the people on the forum and outsiders alike. Let me know if there is any interest.
Another program that is offered free of charge is called Street Smarts which deals with driver and rider perception of the road. It shows you the limits of your vision and how closely the road needs to be looked at when driving. I could possibly do both at the same time so let me know your interest levels and possible facilities that could be used in the Central, CT area. The Street Smarts is generally an hour and 15 mins, and the group riding I would approximate at about 45 mins or so. This class has to be taught in CT unfortunately since it is being paid for my CT, but people from other states can travel into CT and come to the course. I am also open to courses in different parts in CT as long as there is enough interest.
Here are all of the courses that I have access to.
