Riding pants

Thinking of getting some real riding pants and ditching the jeans. Looking at fieldsheer sport 2.0 at motorcycle superstore site for 149.00. 2009 model whatever that means.Guess i'm not a fashionista, as i can wear last years model. Anybody have fieldsheer stuff?. How is the fit and quality? And are they worth it?

Hey Pete, I just recently bought the Fieldsheer Mecury 2.0 pants, and so far I'm happy with them. Wish the inseam was a few inches longer because they seem to ride up the ankle when in riding position. Too early to judge durability but they seem like they are pretty rugged. All in all 4 out of 5 stars.

I found a new pair of A-Stars Track Pants on ebay for $150 shipped. They pop up every now again. I'm pretty satisfied with the fit and quality. They feel exactly the same as my buddy's mx-1 suit (which has held up great despite being crashed at every single race at loudon this season).

It seems fieldsheers sizing is a little off. From the reviews i've read ,everybody says to mgo up one size.Thanks for the info. Hey great ride sat. had a blast.
