I finally decided it was time to schedule a road test for my license, I don't know why I waited so long but my test is on Thursday in Lawrence. Can't see them asking much of me in that parking lot, I would give anyone a license who could drive thru it without dumping it with all the maniacs in that city who can't drive for the life of em. Only time will tell. If I don't pass it I will feel like a complete idiot, espcially since I have been riding bikes since I for the past 18 years.

Well I hardly ever ride @ night, seat cowl and passenger pegs are removed, but I mostly ride in NH. Been lucky, but NH cops are being pricks lately and decided it was time.

Had my permit for two days before I got my license. Test is cake.

My brother got a little 50cc scooter for the city. He lives in texas and you need a MC license to ride anything there. Lucky bastard took the test on the scooter. Its really like cheating. Thing will turn around in the length of itself and no gears and clutch to screw up.

i just got mine a few weeks ago right before my 2nd permit expired haha. I also cheated though, if you take the road test at the lynn armory all you have to do is do a lap around the common using your turn signals and hand signals

Alright so I just got back from the school down by my house. I was there for like an hour and a half doing circles, u-turns, and figure 8s. I can ride some pretty tight circles, lock to lock, figure 8s, kids crazy. This shits a wrap-a-roni.

Just a heads up to anyone who takes their road test in new bedford, you have to do the entire routine, the guy was nice, bike safety check, a circle each way, a figure eight to the left and one to the right, (figure that out...), hand signals while riding away and wants to hear an upshift, and then hear an upshift and downshifting to slow down and stop. I managed to pull it all off without touching the ground once, and the next day my friend told me I could use his can am spyder, which he used to pass, which I think is absolute bullshit.

circles and figure 8's are stupid, but theyre really meant to show that you can make very sharp turns at low speed, a lot of people cant

just a little FYI after having your lisence for 6 years you get a little break on your insurance ....glad i got mine right after i got pulled for driving with on a permit at 10pm

i was told by my insurance that after 5 years of riding, you're considered an experienced rider & go down in insurance.
