Here is to hoping the roads are good.
I'm moving Saturday up to NH. Right now I have 2ft of snow piled in front of the garage but I can get the bike out the car side.. though ice has been a problem on that side.
I'm renting a truck with a ramp but I'm not even sure I'd rather load it up then just ride it. Once I get out of my neighborhood in Waltham I'm sure I'll be fine to ride up to NH.
Any thoughts? I'm getting a storage unit to put the bike in but I won't be able to get into it for a week or two. So I'm going to go grab a bike cover at lunch.. should I just look for tie-downs too? Sounds like I'm gambling with the weather.
Where in NH are you moving too? A new job (thanks Ninjaswan) will have me back in NH. I am looking in the Nashua area.

Northern side of Nashua off Exit 8. Very close to where I used to live.
It's going to be weird.. I'm probably going to be able to walk to work. Quite a change compared to right now.. (2.5 hours commuting yesterday.)
I've got a storage unit for my VFR but I won't have it right away.
Scott, i'm hoping to be signing the papers on my condo in londonderry. I may or may not have a roommate lined up.
Ben, Tie downs are a good investment anyways. Just get the good solid ones.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Jay, lemme know whats what.

I'm sure you could make it. I went for a ride yesterday.
Just stick to the main roads and only during the day above freezing. Lookout for shaded spots on the road as there may be ice there that has not melted since it is not in the sun.

And watch out for salt crystals ....
Was thinking of using the SV to go to work until I came across a
salt spill that would of been like marbles under my tires.
I am going to wait till they stop putting that crap on the roads.
My pleasure Scotty! We're all looking forward to having you join the team!
They're sending me to New Orleans tomorrow for a trade show. I'll be down there till next thursday night. Come back into the office friday for a couple hours then heading down to Foxwoods with Crombie, Maffei and a couple others. Should be a fun week of drinking and gambling! woot, woot!
BenVR, Best luck to you on the move and if you ride be safe! Aslo I'm jealous you're able to get your bike out of your garage. Freakin plow guy pushed all the snow in front of mine.![]()
