Doc's Notes
Looking far through the turn slows everything down.
People who don't make corners usually look down, tense up, target fixate and crash.
Look at the solution and not the problem.
Watch the Hands, Hands kill. (my take on watching car drivers)
Cagers make silly judgements.
It is difficult for cagers to judge speeds of motorcycles.
Most riders braking skills could use work.
Practice makes perfect.
Understanding traction pays great dividends
Position yourself in the lane correctly
Ride within your ability (learn how to guage your ability Tension or panic means you are over your head)
Great job Ken!!!

Thanks guys. It was fun.
Adrian says that Ride! had 20,000 listeners last year, which isn't bad for a first-year program. With more interviews and exposure, he is hoping to double that number this year.
I see Ted Simon is on next. I'll surely tune into that one.
Yo!
David Hough (of Proficient Motorcycling book fame) wrote a very complimentary review of the book/video. The last sentence of the review reads:
"In my opinion, this is one of the best motorcycle skills books on the market today, and both Ken and Whitehorse Press are to be commended for making it available."
Also, I was approached to do a Podcast interview with http://www.yourbikelife.com. I'll let you all know when it's happening.
I'm about 3/4 the way through the book and a have to say it is the best motorcycle riding info book I've come across. I will be reading it over and over for the great knowledge in the book. Great job Ken.
"...being right is all that matters. Everything else is crap."
I haven't looked at the DVD yet, but the best thing about the book for me is how brief and focused everything is. There's a lot to be gleaned on each reading.
Nice job Ken.
My latest mantra for MA cage drivers

Snippets of the DVD video are on line!
I like the approach - starts out simple with the basics and slowly builds and builds ending up addressing quite advanced technical skills stuff.
I call in "the shining" video...you know, as in the 80's Stanley Kubrick movie.....

Yo.
I've been doing a few interviews about the book, including one tonight for a radio station in DC (WJFK). This interview I did last Thursday and was pretty fun. Track days are discussed as well as how I apparently saved the host's life. It's about a half hour long. He doesn't have the interview embedded yet, so you'll have to click the link at the top to stream the mpeg.
Great listen, Ken. Very informative.

This sounds like something I need to read
webbikeworld has a review of this as well, but I think this thread was enough for me to go find myself a copy.
