It's good. Pretty intense, but something every racer can relate to.

I watched it earlier in the year and it's definitely worth your time to check out.

    A) Is Netflix the only place to see this?
    B) Should I watch with my wife? She enjoys watching racing with me, but I still haven't mentioned Simoncelli.

Absolutely not. Especially towards the end of the movie with Robert

Yeah, I thought so. She didn't freak when Salom died, but she doesn't follow Moto2 closely either.

I don't think it's a great flick for family and friends of a racer... It is highly effective at pointing out how asinine we are in our pursuit.

Well said. How we suffer horrible injuries and yet don't bat an eye about getting back on a race bike

Ha, she had it set up to watch when I got home. Fortunately I'm not a racer. Maybe for Christmas we'll watch "The best of Fatal Tractor Rollovers" to highlight my other risky behaviors.

idk....my L/T gf is a huge worry-wort and hates any type of risks, but she does some support me at LRRS, and she actually liked ROAD.

My wife said it was good and hasn't mentioned it since. I'll let you know in a couple years if we're still in the clear.

Re: ROAD - Documentary profile of the Dunlop motorcycle road-racing family

My wife could not finish this either.. I found myself going thru a lot of emotions about it. In the end I was left with a feeling of sadness and great respect for the family. But I cant get over the one big issue that I face myself with this sport. When is it time to hang it up. Both older Dunlop's could not bring themselves to quit even though they both had chances to go out on top and in the end paid the element price.. and for that I am sad. But you see that in all sports and I do understand the great joy in competing and love for the sport and what drives them to keep going. as I said to my wife for me this a part of my life and now a hobby for them it WAS there life... I have quit a few times and come back but I see an end date in site and hope to walk away and enjoy my next challenge.
