no, really. i saw one today buzz around some traffic and thought that it had great acceleration and sounded and looked good. now, as to the price tag, er.. nope.

BTW, are V-Rod riders the only HD riders that can LEGALLY wear FF helmets? just checking.

haha, I don't get v-rods actually. It seems like the retarted child of a cruiser and a sports bike. Really, it is a cruiser with a sporty engine. Kind of a tease.

How quick can you be with foward controls?

    BTW - sportsters are better.

I just think that getting one bike to do two jobs is a mistake. For the price of a v-rod, better off buying a cruiser and a sportsbike.

    That's right, back to a 2 cylinder, 3 cylinder, and a 4 cylinder.

Kinda like the Ducati powered choppers I saw the other night on TV.

But at least that's still slow

Someone help me understand those Ducati choppers. Take a $16,000 1098 and rip it apart to build a chopper around it? I'm confused. Maybe it's that I just don't like choppers. But I think it has more to do with pulling apart a 1098.

I *almost* bought a Warrior, until I realized the only mid-mount pegs to be had were expensive as hell - $1000+

One of the V-rod models comes with mid-mount I think nice bikes

I'd still rather have a Sportster with the Storz kit and a 100" motor

It's too bad the V-Rod block is so large because it could have made an interesting Buell after Eric was through with it.

yeah, i'm not *really* serious, I just like to look at bikes and i crane my head most ways to see a bike. the v-max (older models) would probably wipe up the v-rod, but the v-rod still looks better.

again, it was just a one-time, "if i had unlimited dough" sort of thought.

Dude, if you had unlimited dough, I'd think you'd have some other
options that would be a nicer ride !

True...but people like what they like, period. With unlimited dough, the price tag would have no bearing and you would choose what tickles your fancy. If its a V-rod or a Vespa..so what.

I have never riden a bike I didn't like for one reason or another.
