Rossi and Lorenzo are testing in Texas at the new COTA race track. Rossi looks pretty intense.

Here are their thoughts on the track.

They were going pretty well.
Track is AWESOME, never seen anything like it. Fucking HUGE.

Not really Trickster. I walked the track, but I was in the infield area, not sure where would be a good place in the outside. I'm thinking somewhere up on the hill turn 1-2 area would give you the best view of the most track, but beyond that, no idea.

Like I say, not sure where GA is allowed to go, or if its only the marked areas, but the 2-10 section is a super cool section of the track. Doubt there will be a whole lot of passing in that section though.

Yeah, I just find it strange that the inside of 1 and 12 are pointy. Why not make the natural arc of the corner?

Double apex to slow cars onto the straights. This is a F1 track designed by that putz Tilke. No flow, little chance of passing are his trademarks. I think that's why there is so much paint around the track, to distract us from the crap track.
