Round' town riding buddies?

Hi, Im new to street riding and would love to do some around town riding with some local sportbike riders in the blackstone/franklin/milford/Medon/Upton ECT. area. PM me or simply reply. I feel like theres more crazies out there still riding till snow hits the ground!

Welcome aboard, I'm pretty close to that area in Cumberland, RI half the year but the bike is sans chain and fairings/air filter at the moment in preparation of tucking it in for the winter

Ironically I ride a 94' zx9r I used that SN when I got my first bike (1995 xr100) and for me it kinda stuck. either that or I dont feel like coming up with something else.

I just joined the forums somewhat recently too, so me welcoming you would kinda be like the blind leading the blind, right? I grew up in Mendon, though I moved out a couple years ago. I'm not up for riding any longer than ~45minutes now due to a lack of properly warm clothing, but I'd be interested in riding the area in the spring.

Best of luck and don't forget tires don't grip as well in the cold

Blackstone here, but I don't ride on the street all that much anymore.

I even sold my street bike during the season, so the only street bike I have left is the 97 CBR900RR my wife also rides.

It's put up for the winter.

What the shit was up with that? Weather report clearly said rain in the AM only. Even when it was raining here, weather still said cloudy. I get that its hard to predict, but how fucking hard is it to report on the weather at that very moment?

Yes I do, all the time. I live right near the high school, and go to Andersons all the time. Here's a screen clip from my ride this morning, it was freakin cold!

There seems to be a lot of bike riders in Blackstone. I dropped something off at the middle school Thursday for my daughter on my bike. As I was walking out with another parent, she asked about my bike. Then told me her husband rides a Ducati.

So if you're from Blackstone and your kid goes to the middle school, and you ride a Ducati, I met your wife. :-)
