    Anyone running Braking wave rotors?

I picked up a front set for real cheap off a buddy and have not thrown them on yet. I had a few questions... He told me that you NEED to run Braking sintered pads with the rotors, But maybe he's right? Also i was just wondering what everyone thought of them, I'm trying to decide whether to put them on the bike and buy the matching rear rotor, or throw them up on Ebay. Anyone have an opinion?

I'd give the manufacturer a call and ask them.

No, You can run any pads you like. If they rotors are stainless steel, then scintered pads like HH's will offer the most bite, but also wear the rotors fastest. Organic or kevlar pads have a little less bit, a little more feel, and less wear.

Any need to prep the rotors once they've been used with one type of pad and you switch to another, ie, stock pads to EBC-HH? Regards. Jake

Sure, Clean them well, then take some 4-600 grit sandpaper to them. Just a few even passes to "de-glaze" them.
