Sacrificing small animals pays off

Got caught doing 55 in a 30 yesterday. According to the cop that is, I don't think I was going that fast, and he went by me while I was in a curve, so I don't believe his radar.

And he gave me a verbal warning.

I don't know what it is, this is twice this summer I've gotten pulled over and not gotten a ticket, and both times I was well in excess of the speed limit. It must be the animals. Or maybe it's that I was the only motorcyclist he saw the whole day who was wearing a helmet and gear.

Yesterday I was on Rt. 13 going South and I had just come out of Mont Vernon. According to the cop the speed limit was just moved from changing to 40mph at the top of the huge hill to 30mph all the way to the bottom of the hill. Hmm... revenue perhaps?

That is the only place around here where I've hit 50mph on my bicycle... 30mph speed limit is a little ridiculous there, and there is no way I was being unsafe even if I was doing 55 on my SV through that corner, It's not a blind corner, there is a 10ft wide shoulder, and there are no houses or streets that intersect it for another 1/2 mile or so.

I don't like to sacrafice small animals. My x girlfriend/wife told me she needed to sacrafice a rabbit once. Fucking thing died and next thing ya know I had a daughter.
