I wouldn't trust pads that are soaked in enough brake fluid to do all that damage.

I also wouldn't trust seals that have been removed from calipers looking like that.

To each his own, I suppose.

The pads that may have been soaking in brake fluid for a couple days? Edit: didn't see iglu's comment, wasn't trying to be redundant.

I'm fine with running old and crusty stuff, but I think you're beyond my limits I'd file this one under not worth the time, or risk of doing the job twice.

No intention of running them like this, lol

I might burn the pads and test them out, maybe not. Won't be racing with them or anything.

    Haha

I'm every shitty company's dream - AT&T randomly charges me an extra $50, damned if I spend an hour on the phone arguing with them. Time is money, I'd rather waste it on my own terms!

I hope the sub-frame you picked up this past weekend looked better than these calipers...

If you have a 04/05 GSXR 600/750 front wheel let’s talk!

Seriously though, I buy a lot of stuff online, especially for a rebuild like this - an hour of my time packing, printing shipping labels, driving to town, waiting in line, checking for a refund... least favorite thing to do it’s so not worth $25 to me. I see a lot of people just dickering and wasting hours over a few bucks, it’s like is your time worth anything to you? Whatever, gotta know when to cut your losses in life and move on. I spent $25 on some shitty calipers I’m not going to lose another $100 in time just on principle alone. Opportunity cost man.
