Caught my eye and kind of curious about the 2004 BMW R1150R Rockster ABS. Anyone on NESR ever ridden one?

While I have not ridden one, I do recall reading an article about them. IIRC - They were not stellar performers, and not really great at any one thing. There were no really bad traits, though. The article spoke about it's performance not matching its "Hooligan" image.
I saw one a year or so ago and spoke with the owner a bit. He told me that, while he enjoyed the bike, after less than a year of ownership, he was going to sell it and move on to something more exciting.
They look really neat in person. I believe that is about all they have going for them, though.
This is now my flavor of the week. I liked them back then, love them now.
Stupid question… when BMWs are running, on their kickstand, do they jiggle side to side a little?

Huh. Didn’t know these existed. Prequel to the R9T it seems?
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
I wanted one of these SO BAD when they first came out. It's an R1150R with Bold New Graphics, no special suspension or anything that I'm aware of. Should last forever if maintained, trustworthy and predictable, not much in the "rustlin' jimmies" dept.

When "dignified pace" will do.
(That's all I got, anyway)/
