Scorpion EXO 700

I need some input...I've been looking at the white and the black Scorpion EXO 700, the ones with the scorpion on the side. I can't decide which one I want. I have an Alpine* leather jacket, very similar to this one, in black/gray/white --> Viewing Images For Alpinestars T-Breeze Air-Flo Mesh Jacket :: New Enough, LTD

And my bike is, of course, all black.

Now does scratches appears worse on white or black helmets? Always had my black Shoei, and as soon as there is a small knix on it, it shows a small white dot. But I don't know if white helmets are worse for getting marks, smeared stains and what not.

Dont know about the colors But the Helmet is Great I have Nailed my head at loudon and VIR Going really damm fast and I can still feed myself, The helmet was junk after but the head was fine.

Good input, thanks! It's reassuring to see some people have crashed with them and the helmet did it's job. I was never too sure about getting one of those, always had Shoei's in this house.

I have the Exo 700 chameleon green helmet. Its white and white helmets generally show less scratches...HOWEVER...it does show every bug and piece of dirt. Its a sick helmet though. You won't be dissapointed.

Mmm...didn't realize they were making the EXO 700 in "chameleon" black...I thought only the white had the iridescent colors. I think black will be the one.

What is the difference between a fiberglass/kevlar shell and a polycarbonate one? The latter being lighter weight, I suppose?

Ones plastic, ones fiberglass/kevlar. Some say theres no difference, some say theres a huge difference. For what its worth, polycarbonate helmets are NOT allowed at LRRS, take that however you care to.
