    Scratches

Does anyone have any experience spot repairing plastics? (scratches, not cracks)

All the info I can find is just repainting the whole thing....and that's a lot of work.

Since the plastic is question has black and yellow areas, I was thinking tape off the entire scratched area, sand down in a big area to the base, then a smaller area to primer/plastic. Then paint the sanded area with a slight over lap, then clear the whole area with a slight over lap to the original clear. Finally wet sand smooth.

    Approvals/ accusations of retardation?

I leave them alone, call it the patina of a well used bike.

It is not a jewel but a tool ... now go ride the piss out of it.

I think I'll leave them alone. It would be way to hard to repaint that honda pattern back on, and they aren't that bad.

On that note, anyone here good enough with photoshop that they could show me what my bike would look like with yellow wheels? I'll post a picture when I get back to my apt.
