    Talking Seacoast Sport!

    Alot of you have seen my dinosaur, the '08 Buell 1125R I have been riding since, well, before HD decided to rid themselves of sport bikes. Most have also seen and heeeeeard my abortion of a homemade exhaust and atleast Pete and Gino have heard the ridiculously loud open airbox I made.... Well, after trying a few tuning options made available to us, along came Power Commander with an option and I jumped on it. I went to Seacoast and Jesse for the custom tune.
    Now, my experience with Seacoast until this point had been in the front store, mainly with Patricia buying both helmet and jackets and now a few Suit rentals (should really buy one....) Ok, Ok...

    First tuning? didn't go so well, my airbox and exhaust completely destroyed all performance that could have come out of my bike. That said Jesse STILL found 15 HP by tuning it.

    Now, after changing the airbox back to stock and buying an actual performance slipon for my bike I found I was in a spot. I had changed enough that my bike was now running improperly again....

    Fast Forward to today, leaving for Jersey on Sunday and Jesse fit me in last minute with LITTLE, VERY LITTLE notice. Now, my initial HP a week or so ago was 95hp, and Jesse was able to find 15 more making it a whopppping 110hp. Today, with a stock airbox and Barker slipon exhaust Jesse made my day and most likely making my trip to Jersey so much sweeter.

    Before:------------>Today:
    110HP------------->126HP
    22mpg-------------> after 100 quick miles so far averaging 38-40mpg
    205-Coolant Temp->180-182
    HOT Frame Temp-->Very COOL
    Buzzy Bars--------->now Smooth as Silk
    Hesitation---------->WOW, snappy and crisp
    ......If you see a pattern, there is.... my bike feels completely different....

    I can't thank Jesse @ Seacoast enough for his work today, and Patricia for all her work keeping me coming in. First it was just gear, now I wouldn't hesitate using service too. Kudos to the entire Seacoast staff,

    Thank You

    Nick Carney

    Rexxx, she made 70 peak but never was below 50 and the curve is more like a table top.... What I can't stress enough was how smooth it was, thats where it's going to be more fun coming out of corners.... Even just playing with it yesterday, the difference in power delivery was night and day.

    I would love to take your bike out for another ride sometime to feel the differences.

    Re: Seacoast Sport!

    On my bike the frame IS the fuel tank. Usually it acts as a heat sink with the motor heating up the fuel and voila the outside of the fuel tank heats up. They motor itself is running much cooler, so the frame doesn't get nearly as hot as it used to.

    Rode it at NJMP Mon/Tues and even more fun than the extra power I now have was the smoothness mid-corner. No more herky-jerky and I can ratchet the power on in a nice progressive manner allowing me to get on the power earlier. You can ask pete his opinion too as he took it for a session too.

    Re: Seacoast Sport!

    good deal!

    some day i'd like Jesse to tune my SXV, which i bought from Seacoast. setup with the 'XV bikes is soooo important, I can't help but think that the reason mine has been so rock solid is because it was setup right from the get go. great team up there.

    side question if anyone knows: did John Martin (sales) leave?
