    Hi again...14k service etc

Hi guys, been awhile. I've been riding a lot, put about 1.5k miles on my sv650, still loving it. Anyways, my 14k service is overdue and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on where I should head for that, as I don't think I can do it myself. I'm not a big fan of the guys at GBM, but if I have to go there I guess I will. Are there any independent places that could do something like this? Anyone have any idea how much it will run me? the 14k service involves
new spark plugs, an oil change, tightening some bolts and lubing everything up, and a valve inspection.

anything else I need to know is greatly appreciated

Or save yourself a little coin and do the oil, plugs, filter, and lube by yourself. Then pay for the valve inspection.

I believe it also includes air filter service/replacement and Throttle Body Syncronization

expect a dealer to charge in the $350-$400 for 4 hours ± labor + parts & chemicals

any other thoughts? I will probably end up doing most of the simpler stuff myself like schleppy said. Are there any independent shops around the boston area, or just dealerships?

RJ's in Nashua on Amherst Street...not exactly Boston but they've always been good to me.
