Shipping a new bike from FL to MA? Any suggestions? Recommendations?

    Hi Guys,

Looking at picking up a new leftover 2018 KTM Superduke 1290r.

No one around New England can come even close to the prices I can get elsewhere.

So that leads me to possibly getting a bike in FL, and having it shipped up here to MA.

Anyone have good results on U-ship? That seems like my least expensive option. I don't mind paying a bit more for better service though.

The last thing i want is my new bike damaged before I even get it.

    Thanks
    Jay

    LOL.

I knew you guys would say that.

I'd love to be able to fly down and ride back, but with work and kids....no go.

Figure $400 to $450 via UShip, and that's assuming you're ok waiting up to two months for final delivery, if you want it soon and don't happen to line up with an existing shipping run your cost will go up. Also bear in mind that UShip just plays coordinator between you and a smorgishboard of independents and companies. I've arranged shipping a few times through them in the past with good results, but that's not a guarantee.

    Never used Uship.

I used motorcycleshippers.com on ScottieDucati's advice (I think) and had an excellent experience.

Legit offer: get he paperwork in order n pay for my one way plane ticket, I'll take care of the rest.

..... might take me a week, though, I ride real slow.

If anyone has contact info for the racers that go up and down the east coast then maybe someone could grab it for you next time they are in Florida

You cannot find anything closer? I just did this same thing on a 2017 Super Duke GT; ended up in NJ to save a couple K. NJ seemed to have strong prices. I could have saved another 1K if I went all the way to CA.
