    Shock is toast

    Tech info needed??

I hit a large pot hole accidently Saturday & went airborn and bottomed out the rear shock, now the rear shock is leaking it's oil out. Can these be rebuilt & sealed??

Or should I just use this as an excuse to upgrade to a better rear shock??? Any suggestions or what New Shock to get?

What were you on? The RC shock can be re-done but not sure about the Yammie. As far as replacements, the Penske's are a really nice unit and will cost ya around 7-7 1/2 bills. There's always Ohlins but they're a little more money (generally, not much, though) but their stock setup seems to be a little stiffer for the road than the Penske, therefore not quite as comfortable.
Check out Race-tech's site, Lindemann Engineering, or Dan Kyle, Traxxion Dynamics, and see their prices and services, then choose you're poison.
Also, if you do decide to rebuild you're stocker, it'd be a waste to not get it re-valved and re-sprung for your weight
    Cheers, Lee S.
