One of the guys I ride with is going to buy a bike from someone who works at a shop, the bike keeps having little problems, like stalling, and so on and he wants to get the bike looked at, but not at the shop that person works at, can anyone suggest anywhere? We live in the boston area, thank you very much!!!

you know... south shore motorsports actually aint that bad. i know there was some drama about them at some point, but my experience wasnt bad.
go look for... hmmm.... what was his name, i think its tlrvaz on here? i am pretty sure he is a mechanic there.. used to work on warrany stuff on my priller when i had it. i've never taken a bike to a shop for non-warranty stuff, i do most stuff myself.
i dont know if thats his name, but at least two of the mechanics there, one was the shop manager i think, do track days all the time... so they cant be all bad.

I just bought a set of bars from Ed O'Neil, a sales guy at SS motorsports. They were his personal bars listed on SVRider.com.Originally posted by Pearldog

Ed was a racer/rider and very down to earth. I got good vibes from the time I spent in there, and sat on some very nice hardware, e.g. Aprillia Tuono & Mille RSV
I would try them out.

Ed O'Neil is a great guy to deal with. Prolly one of the best sales people I've ever dealt with (from any field). Knows his shit cold, very down to earth, and dosn't give out *any* attitude or pressure. Totally go check him out for info / help.
