Area shop with good stock of gear (primarily gloves)?

Is there a shop in Mass/CT which has a variety of good gloves in stock? I need to purchase a pair of street/track gloves and would really like to try them on before purchasing (from the shop, not the internet). I haven't had great luck with fit in the past when purchasing online.

I have been to many of the reasonably local (I live in western Mass) shops, but none really has much in the way of street gear in stock.

Swing through Lunenburg and visit Central Mass Powersports, the gm there is a road racer and they stock affordable/good gloves. I just got a new set there last week.

Twisted Throttle in/near Pachaug? Their store is huge and I used to go down there and poke around before riding trails in Pachaug.

Best bet is Cycle Gear. They might have a Springfield location now. If not, Manchester, CT would be closest to you.

Thanks for the quick responses! I had forgotten about Central Mass Powersports; I don't make it out there as often as I used to, but it's worth a look. (I think I bought my street jacket there years ago.) I didn't know about Twisted Throttle, but it looks promising.

The nearest Cycle Gear is in Manchester, but we have friends in Hartford, so I can swing by there easily enough.

I say Central Mass Powersports too....never been there but they sponsor like 6 racers on here, so give them your business!!
