So sick and tired of cold, wet commutes

All I want is a little traction. Is that so much to ask? I'd guess that out of 41 commutes so far this year, 30 were on wet pavement for at least half the ride (usually to work) and 40 of them were done with my electric jacket on for at least some of the ride. It's June, where's the warmth?

Try it with no heated jacket, no fairing, and spandex. I'm not sure whether you get colder on a MC or a bicycle but the bicycle definitely sucks more. A heated jacket and warm clothes really take the edge off.

    Yep it has been sucky.

Back when I was into cycling (got a nice Santana tandem in the basement...) cold weather riding was my least favorite. I really like riding when it was 80+ degrees out and I had plenty of water. Muscles stay loose when it's hot out.

Yep my knees, back, and hamstrings have been achy since it got cold again all of a sudden.

I am overall just miserable right now though.

I was thinking about trading in my bike for an Ark...It worked well for Noah and it would have more use than my bike lately...

So sick and tired of cold, wet commutes

My Internet whining paid off. Had a wonderful commute home yesterday. 72 degrees and dry. Actually got to some reasonable lean angles for a change. The memory of yesterday made this morning's wetness and cold easier to take too.

I'm happy again. You can all sleep easier now.
