    The sky is falling.........caution!!!!!

I took last Friday off of work for my b-day to go for a ride, and towards the end of my ride, I was abruptly stopped in my tracks by a cable tv line dropping from the sky. Disconnected at a house in Southington just as I was passing by, but still attached to the pole across the street. I was able to quickly stop before it took me down, but not before it ripped thru my mid-fairing just under the nose doing a bit of damage.

Luckily, the guy who was responsible paid me on the spot for the damage, and it was settled right there.

So....as a note, ad this to the list of things to watch out for. I never saw it coming.

You have to watch out for some of these cable guys. The Cable Companies sub out to some weird guys -- or at least up here. At least he paid up right there if not I bet he would have been in a bit of trouble.
Hey Joe it's real nice out now I have to go to a few more jobs but I'm taking the bike out later to go see my niece's soccer game.

Yes, it is nice out. Wish I could join you, but I don't have the time
today to go out that far, if at all. Hope your niece wins though.
