Amazing when someone rides and knows nothing about their bike.

V, the year DOES matter, since there might have been subtle changes that would determine which exhaust system you would need.

The Muzzy is a great option in a low-cost full system. If you start with the carbon, expect systems to climb in price.

    Another option:

    Jardine - 16 Series Slip-Ons and Complete Systems - EX500 90-02 16 Series Complete Systems-Black 2/1

Just go to the pipe manufacturer's web sites and see if they offer them:

Nope. The EX500 is just that awesome. Unchanged for over 20 years, other than the addition of 17" wheels and some cosmetic improvements in 1994.

The engine is an old ZX1k mill split in half. The EX500 represents the pinnacle of engineering laziness. Rip off what you can from other bikes, half ass the rest, then sell it until people won't buy them anymore. Still going strong...

These are by far the favorites of the ex500 "pimps"

SARACHU SPEEDBIKE RACING (notice all the pics that were taken at Loudon I see 4)

go to Ex-500.com - The home of the Kawasaki EX500 / Ninja 500R - Index and do a search for "sarachu" and see how many threads come up.

A re-jet is not required. Just slap em on & go.

Of course they're all sold out, but the site says new shipments are expected soon.

+1 on the Sarachu. I have F1s on my 500 and I am not a fan of how they sound.

Do EX500 and bling even go together in the same sentence?

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.

I would think a well set up & running would be a good street tool.
