Sold my bike last night! :-(

So last night I said goodbye to my 1997 zx7r, I was kinda sad to see her go, she has been a great bike, I have had so much fun on it and it has been the most dependable bike I have ever owned. But, alas it is time to move on, and tonight I am going to be moving on to something a little newer.....I am going to pick up a 2000 rc51 and I can not wait!!!!!!

This was on the for sale post and as soon as I saw it I wanted the bike soooooo bad. I went to look at it and Kip (the guy selling it) is really cool, and the bike is in great shape. Everything that I wanted to have done to it has already been done!!!! I will take pix tomorrow and then I will put them on here!

You'll love the difference in power and throttle responce, but you are going to see how much more your going to have to work to put the RC into corners...

Those 7R's just fall into corners, where as my RC I have to stand push and throw it in hard! That sounded dirty.... Oh well..

All in all the RC is a sweet bike and very fun to ride! Enjoy. Oh yeah it gets a lot of attention from onlookers! First the sound gets their attention, then the stunning looks hold their interest. It's either that or they are trying to figure out what the fuck it is.

Well it's not an R1, or a Gixxa, deffinately not a Busa or Ducati? Huh? Thats when you dont stop to talk, cause you'll get dum questions like how fast can it go, and can you wheely it.. Furgin Squids.....

From left to right on route 19 in Cherokee, NC, there's Brents Z1000, My 01 RC, Jamie's 02 RC, and Bruces 03 RC.
If that 00 was there instead of the Z and 2 more to complete the years for RC's it would be a perfect picture!

J/K actually, I was eyeing that RC too... you have no idea how much restraint it took to not jump on that deal.

It looks like you got a great deal on one sweet bike.

I'm seriously thinking about picking one up too...
so post up on what you think about it after coming off the 7R.
