A long day on a tire that was not showing obvious signs of being worn. The sipes aren't near that center section on the B-stone BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22's. The mileage is a tell tale along with the bikes insane torque and bhp from the super charger. (Kawi H2 SX SE) Never a burnout, nor TC turned off. Simple riding it like it was stolen hammering the gas out of corners and letting the anti wheelie hold the front tire a few inches off pavement. No clutch up wheelies nor even turned that off once. It's too nice a bike to balance point wheelie it.

It looked fine in the morning pushing it out of the garage but once I got home from a 400+ mile, 3+ tank of gas day, of northern VT roads, it was toast. Oh ya, lots of rain at times up north...

my experience is the last few miles, tire wear accelerates, I replace tires at 50% wear now

I laughed so hard at the responses as well. I knew it was well played when people actually got real with their mansplaining. Telling me to go around corners or addressed the optical illusion of the pic with dark left side making the strip look non centered on the left.

I got a kick out of the post and comments as well...people on that page take themselves way too seriously.

I had a similar thing happen, except I was in Ohio trying to get home, haha. I left thinking I had plenty of meat, but the last ~20% of a tire seems to go reeeeally fast.

That's crazy.

I had a similar thing happen on my front tire on my sumo bike. Went to put the warmers on and realized I could see threads on the side.

Your lucky you made it home in the rain.

You had me for about 15 seconds with that post, like what the heck is he talking about? I did something similar a few years back, riding with a small group in October, thinking I'll wait til November when Seacoast offers their 15% off service deals. The air was showing through before I got home.
