No no...not the picture...what's the motorcycle being advertised.

He says it's a "600yzf", 600cc, a yamaha sportbike, and from 1988, then posted a pic of a an FZ700.

I thought that:
-the yzf600 didn't come out until the mid 90's
-in 1988, there was no FZR600
-in 1988, there was no FZ600
-an FZ700 is NOT 600cc's
-the only middleweight pseudo sportbike made by Yamaha then was the XJ600

Also judging by the FZ posted in the pic, my guess is he's actually selling an XJ600.

There was no XJ600 in 1988.

The last year of the FJ600 was 1985.

The FZ600 was from 86-88.

The Seca 2 was 90's.

It's a FZ600 for sure IF it's an 88.

well, he responded by email and said it's def. not an XJ600.

He also it has full fairings and might be an '89...so it's an FZ600 or FZR600.

I don't think the FZ600 came out until the late 90's or early 00's. So I'm guessing might this be an FZR600?

FZR600 is 1989 to 1999 or so.

Last year of the FZ600 was 1988.

Tell him to look at the white ID tag on the steering head. It will say there what it is.
