Special Bag question

This is not a photo of my bike - but mine has this same set up. (for reference 2001 Suziki Interuder LC 1500 VL) I am looking for a tank bag that will fit just on the fill door (yellow box). I am hoping to locate one that is able to hold my cellphone for navigation, my documents (registration etc) and be attached directly to the door so as to not get in the way when opening to fuel up. I am working on getting a better set of bags (saddle, tail, fork) that all match and I know that this would likely not be able to done in studded leather, but a solid balck would do nicely.

So far all searching has turned up NOTHING close to what I have in mind. Can any of you point me in the right direction? Or is this an item I will have to learn how to make myself?

What's the length of the fuel door? I recently did a ton of research into tank bags so might be able to help.

Also, will a magnetic tank bag stick to it?

I'd start with Amazon. Then the usuals: Cycle Gear, Revzilla, places like that.

I hate to say it, but I'd venture to guess you'd find something that works on the Harley Davidson website. Although, you'll be paying 30-60% more than it's worth.

not sure if the door itself is able to attract a magnet. I will test this evening.

now to take measurements, check for magnetic attraction, and narrow down the list.
