Re: Sport or Sport-touring tires?
I've done T-days with a 5 year old rear and kept up with top intermediate yellow riders in NJ on the completely stock Hawk. Should be able to handle the Canyons like most any tire. just got to know limits on things sometimes. Hell they use this Tire for Vintage racing. can't be all that bad.
Re: Sport or Sport-touring tires?
ya..that's what I figure...and I have a vintage designed bike anyhow
this has ~5,300 miles

only issue is - the rear didn't come in a 140/60, so I got a 140/70...

the tire is quite a bit bigger than I expected, so the rear sits higher, acceleration is a bit slower, and rpm's on the freeway are lower too...but she's mostly a commuter bike, so all that should be okay!
