There is a vanity mirror in the lid of the trunk. No joke.

    2 questions -

    a) Is it compatible with Rotella?
    b) What class does it race in?

Oh, it's gonna need a bar-mount cup holder to complete the ensemble too.

Re: I present to you, SS LandWhale

Saw it locally on Saturday when driving back from brunch with the fam. When you already have 6 bikes, and your wife says "Oh, you always wanted one of those, right? You should get it", you don't let rational take over and keep driving. JUST DO IT! At least I can use this thing to/from work, unlike the dirt bike.

Took it for a nice long 2.5 hour test ride. Got ice cream. DIDN'T wear ear plugs while riding. Man it is so strange that it's that quiet.

Hopped on after going through the mechanicals in my garage during the test ride without ear plugs, flipped on the radio while heading down the driveway. Tears for Fears came on. SO 80's. Radio? On the bike? Hilarious.

On-board compressor works, as does the on-board air suspension adjustment for the front and rear using said compressor. Even has a filler hose to fill your tires using the compressor.

Has a brand new rear tire, recent front, no leaks, new battery, stator was just done (still gotta clean up some crap solder joints), etc. Runs/rides proper.

LCD dash is so 80's. SO so 80's.

With your key, you can release the stereo to take it with you, or lock it in a little cubby in one of the saddle bags. Cause ya don't want to come back from the roller skating rink to find your stereo and your Guns and Roses - Appetite for Destruction tape got ganked by some gang member with a ponytail!

It's got a backrest for the passenger (and an extra in better shape, one on there has a seam that let go up top), and TWO backrests for the DRIVER. Pockets/pouches abound.

    738lbs dry. DRY.

Thought the front brake was bad, and the rear was good, until I read the manual. Front brake lever hits one front caliper, rear pedal hits the rear and the other front caliper. Linked braking. Weird dude, weird.

Heel/toe shifting is the only option. Man is it hard to get used to.

Reg'd it today, fixing the wiring tonight, riding it to work tomorrow. With NPR blasting. Hardcore dude, hardcore.

Dude, really. I was ready to start riding before I was done my ice cream shake. Thought, "damn, it needs a cup holder stat!".

Figure I'll play with it until I'm bored, then let someone else dent some pavement. Snagged it for a good enough deal to flip easy to make my money back.

I have great memories of my "wing. Wife and I did some nice trips. Only problem is she would sometimes fall asleep on the back.

I would be going down the road and every couple of minutes I would feel the bike "jerk". Took me about 4 or 5 times before I realized it was her head flopping to the side.
