St. Christopher in my ICON jacket

I was placing something in the left chest pocket of my ICON TIMMAX 2 jacket last night and i felt something in the mesh. After a further look i found a St. Christopher medallion sewn in with its own little pocket. I am not a huge religious person but i thought it was kinda "special". a manufacturer that cares. Dont know if this is old news or if anyone has ever checked this before.....figured id share.

Yup, it's from the manufacturer like that. As far as I've heard they put one in all of their jackets. Same deal as yours...some small hidden pocket within another pocket.

Mine worked fine, granted, it was fairly low speed but no rash, no tearing, no broken stiches. Ill take my chances with it compared to the rest.

i guess time will tell on the quality of the jacket. when i looked at other leather jackets in the same price range at the store, none of the other jackets felt superior to the icon. they were all about the same. but i guess you cant really say anything until you wreck with it on.

are your statements based on first hand experience or just passing on what you have heard? not doubting you but seems like thats how product reviews get around alot on forums no exp. just " i heard this"....

The reason they put those Madalions in there is its the only thing that protects you when you go down...at least thats what they say. Personaly i have some Icons stuff and its been good to me.

I like my Icon, except the fact that they do not come down enough in the back, they don't have that ass flapper like my JR did.. And yes, Saint Chris rides in my inside pocket.. and they don't have a zipper for pants..

No joke Jamie...i have three of there jackets and theres one in each of them. Theres a small pocket on the inside pocket. The madalion is hanging off a little material and it sits in the little pocket. Even though im not cathlic its cool to know its in there.
