as shitty as this sounds, put up a WTB on craigslist. I've seen stolen bikes returned for some cash, depends if you have full coverage or a lot of custom work that you don't want to lose. otherwise, if it's covered, you're probably better off not getting it back, they probably snapped the frame around the pin that locks the bars.

I've got comprehensive, so at this point I think I'm just hoping they give me a good number. Witness said they were hanging out near it for about 20 minutes, so I'm guessing they did some damage. Steering column was locked. Probably hammered away on that for a while & rolled her away.

WTB is intriguing though...

Yeah especially a not so common stolen bike...

The WTB looking for the front end (forks, lower triple only and front wheel) to fix crashed my 05 fz6. post in several different areas and don't put your phone number that they can search.

With it being not one of the more common bikes they would be overjoyed to have a buyer already lined up for the parts.
