    Stolen CRF150

I'm not an idiot, I know it's doing wheelies in heaven now, but BOLO for a 2008 CRF150rb (big wheel) with blue plastics and red fork guards. I was selling it, showed it to three kids last night who said they wanted it and would be back to pick it up today. Woke up this morning to my side garage door popped open and one less bike in the stable.

Stolen out of Salem, MA. VIN: JH2KE0SC78K102600

I have so much fucking sympathy rage for you right now, I can taste it. Got any contact info or names of those kids? Cuz that's the first thing I'd give to the cops.

Call them to ask when they want to pick it up.

Thanks! I could give a shit about the bike. Frankly if a kid asked me for it I would have gladly given it away to get someone on a bike. Mostly shitty that someone broke into my garage while I was asleep

I would have cameras up everywhere if you don't already. I have one in my garage with motion detection set for 11p-7a. The kids know you have toys (assuming you probably have street bikes or other toys) and how to get in now.

    Re: Stolen CRF150

I've been wanting cameras... A very tech savvy buddy of mine who's had cameras at both of his recent residences likes the Wyze cameras.

Downside is they're MOSTLY after-the-fact reactive/investigative, rather than preventative or a deterrent, unless you've got motion sensing & alarm notification triggers and can do something about it there in the moment.

Large obvious cameras with a little red LED (even fake ones like these) are OFTEN an even better deterrent than actual working lower profile cameras that aren't as noticable.

Often your best option is a combination of both...

There is a good chance they’ll be back for more. Harden the targets.

My heavy equipment supplier in Phoenix hit a thief with two rounds of buckshot at close range inside his office. Problem solved, permanently.

    Fuck thieves.
