Two-time MotoGP™ World Champion Casey Stoner will return to the Italian manufacturer in 2016 as test rider and ambassador.
Ducati Corse is delighted to announce that two-time MotoGP™ World Champion Casey Stoner will return to the Italian manufacturer in 2015 in the role of brand ambassador and test rider.

Casey Stoner won the 2007 MotoGP World Championship on the Ducati Desmosedici GP with ten wins in eighteen races, results that also helped the Italian manufacturer to clinch the Constructors’ title. Between 2007 and 2010, Stoner won a total of 23 races for Ducati.

The 30-year-old Australian from Southport (Queensland), who is widely considered to be one of the fastest and most talented riders ever, will become brand ambassador for the Bologna-based manufacturer and, as part of the agreement, will appear at the 2016 edition of World Ducati Week, scheduled to run from July 1-3. He will also take part in a selected number of MotoGP™ tests for the Ducati Team next year.

let me rephrase, the only time CS ever finsihed ahead of VR in the championship is the 2 times he won the championship and his 11 title was won when VR went to the Duc which we all know was a pile of shit.

I had nick named Stoner as 'Crash Stoner' when he first came on the MotoGP scene with Honda. Then when he went to Ducati, it was a superior machine that year and he was the only one who could ride it well. The tires and bike made Casey Stoner. Then he did improve his skills after that...

A flash of talent for a few years...just like Sete Gibernau and Gary McCoy....only Stoner won Championships.

Were we watching the same MotoGP seasons? Cuz...Stoner bitches in both directions. Then shortly after he said the race scene wasn't what it should be (according to him) came the surprise lactose intolerance issue and he bailed mid season...
