stopped by statie today

this morning as I'm coming to stop on town road that intersects a state highway, my radar detector goes off, sure enuf, the first car of 2 before I can proceed is a state cop, after they go by, I proceed in the same direction

then the cop pulled over, waits for me to get in front of him, then he pulled out behind me and turns the blues on.

cop come over, kicks my front fork and says " your ok" me ... still have my helmet on and say "uh?" then the cop says , you inspection sticker was covered wit mud, you can go now"

never even had a chance to shut my engine off

What does his age have to do with it. From the description of the event he did nothing wrong. He was waiting to pull out, a car and a statie went by, he pulls out behind the statie, the statie pulls over and let's Randy go by, pulled out and then lit him up.

Sounds to me just some asshat state trooper with nothing better to do other than bust balls.

age has everything to do with it. The cops profile sport bikers as young crazy dangerous 'kids' and will pull you over to see if you'll run, aren't legal or anything else they can hassle you about. I've been pulled over at least a dozen times in the last couple years and after seeing I'm a mid 40s 'adult' they say ok and let me go.

I was actually impressed with the cops eyeball, I was just coming to a stop as he drove, not 2 seconds earlier, I zapped someone else with a momentary instant on with this radar.

he has less than 1 second to observe my bike and noticed the inspection sticker was obscured or missing

luKily for me, it was today, I just got done putting on my shiney new plate about 10 minutes earlier, a couple days ago, it not only would have been the mud on the inspection sticker, also my plate would have been likely missing it's been a couple weeks since I can say for sure the plate has even been on my bike, and before that so covered in mud that your could't read it without wiping it off

So you're going to tell me you can tell the age of someone under a full face helmet? I have been riding since the age of 18 and like an asshole most of the time, and can honestly say I have never been "profiled" as a young dangerous kid. The only time I ever got a ticket on my bike was for a stop sign violation. Never for speeding or whilly's or any of the typically squid shit that I pull. So that being said I don't know if I buy this "profiling" gig. Hard on cops I do believe!!!
