you can reg a ATV for the street in AZ. guy came into our shop with a banshee frame with an R1 motor in it. it was crazy.

I saw a polaris snow machine tricked out for the street at bike week this year. Had a NH plate and FTMS states that he lives somewhere fairly local, seen the thing on some sled forums. Looked gnarly

back in the 90s i used to see a custom KZ1000 based street quad at the local bike nights in fort lauderdale. you could plate anything in FL as long as it had a head light, horn and blinkers...not sure if it's still that way.

I know a guy local to me in Ma that makes conversion kits to drive your sled on the road. He also will help you get it registered. Been doing it for years. He's got lots of $$ tied up in the kits, production of kits and the whole legal issue.
